Welcome to the W1/W2 Timetable Planner ("the application"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application. By using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To provide our service, we use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, we receive the following basic profile information from your Google account:
This information is used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity against an allowlist of authorized users and personalizing your experience within the app (e.g., displaying your name). We do not request or store any other personal data from your Google account.
The application data you create—including your timetable structure, notes, class links, and other settings—is associated with your unique Teacher ID (which you provide). This data is saved to a Google Sheet under your control or managed by your institution, via Google Apps Script.
We do not store your personal data or application data on our own servers. All data persistence is handled through the Google Sheets and Google Apps Script platform, leveraging Google's security infrastructure.
We use industry-standard security measures, including session tokens and secure communication (HTTPS), to protect your data during transmission between your browser and the Google Apps Script backend. Your session token is stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in, and it is transmitted securely with every request to the backend.
The application relies on the following third-party services:
Since all your application data is stored in a Google Sheet, you have full control over it. You can view, modify, or delete your data at any time by accessing the Google Sheet directly. Deleting your data from the sheet will permanently remove it from the application.
